Welcome to the official weblog of WFMG Radio - Richmond, Indiana. The main purpose of this blog is simple… entertainment. Yes, blogs are a hot internet topic right now, but there are reasons for that. Here’s the short list:

3. Interaction - It’s easy to post comments to a blog.
4. Syndication - It’s easy to distribute a blog on the web.
5. Connection - It’s easy to stay in touch with readers of a blog.

This is an experiment for us in which we hope you choose to participate. The ideal situation would be that this weblog ‘takes hold’ and we actually make it our main page at g1013.com.

What you will find here is daily updated entries from various people here at the station, offering wholly different perspectives on this radio project we call “G1013″. From info about requests from Mandi -to reflections on Richmond politics from Dave -to souffle recipes from Rick… the idea is to have plenty of varied and regular content. To start, we are limiting authoring access to 101’s DJs and your loyal site admin. We are looking at possibly expanding this to include other key 101 figures, and perhaps in the future even some chosen listeners. Who knows.

So put us in your bookmarks, feel free to post your thoughts, keep our few guidelines in mind, and enjoy. We think of this as a community effort and look forward to building a busy and interactive weblog.
